There being few books by Malaysian writers, especially books for
children, former English teacher, Margaret H.L. Lim
from Kuching, Sarawak, established Fairy Bird Children's Books in May 2005, with
the express purpose of producing exciting books which nurture children, and which
draw on the rich culture of Sarawak.
We at Fairy Bird Children's Books believe in fostering not only a child's communicative
skills, but also the child's creativity. Fairy Bird Children's Books is dedicated
to delivering high-quality English books that are unique, entertaining and easy
to read. The themes of our books are close to a child's heart - we celebrate the
